Attribution Policy
The Equilar attribution policy applies to the publication or distribution of all Equilar content and data both in print and online.
Any use of Equilar-provided content and data by entities or their representatives requires strict adherence to the following guidelines.
Use of Equilar data constitutes consent to the policy unless otherwise indicated in superseding agreements, when reasonable. The client
agrees to provide Equilar with a preview of all content pieces with proper attribution prior to publication.
Article attribution
Content and data published in print or online, including newspapers, television segments, blogs, white papers, opinion pieces, etc., may
reasonably be followed by proper attribution to Equilar and displayed according to the following guidelines:

The first mention of Equilar in a publication includes a citation to the source and reference “Equilar, a corporate leadership data firm.”

Any online publication citing Equilar research will contain a link to www.equilar.com

Any commissioned studies or joint works will be entitled “Publication/Equilar Study Name” and referenced at least once
in the subsequent content write-up.
Graphic attribution
Content and data displayed in a graphic, picture, diagram, or other visual representation may reasonably be followed by proper
attribution to Equilar and will include a citation as “Source: Equilar” in each separate graph or image.
Database attribution
Content and data represented as a database or table in either print or online publication may reasonably be followed by proper
attribution to Equilar and displayed according to the following guidelines:

Equilar will be mentioned as the provider of the data above the database or table and include a citation as “Information
provided by Equilar.”

Any online publication citing Equilar research must contain a link to www.equilar.com
Brand Guidelines

General. All Equilar, an executive and board data firm, brand names, trademarks, logos, slogans, copyrighted designs or other brand features (collectively "Brand Features") will be used only as explicitly licensed by Equilar, and only under the terms and conditions and for the purposes described in such License. The other party to the License granted by Equilar is referred to as the "Licensee". To the extent they may differ with the general terms below, the specific terms of the License govern all use of the Brand Features by the Licensee.

Approval. All specific uses of any Equilar Brand Features must be approved in advance by Equilar Marketing.
You may request approval by submitting your request to marketing@equilar.com. You
must also include complete samples of each proposed use. Equilar’s marketing department will typically review the request and
respond within five (5) business days, but is under no obligation to respond. You may not use Brand Features unless and until
Equilar has granted its specific approval and any and all conditions of such approval have been fulfilled by the Licensee.

Appearance of Logos. The Licensee will ensure that the presentation of the Equilar Brand Features will be
consistent with Equilar’s own use of the Equilar Brand Features in comparable media. From time to time during the term of
the License, Equilar may provide to Licensee written guidelines as to the size, typeface, colors, and other graphic
characteristics of the Equilar Brand Features, which upon delivery to the Licensee shall be deemed to be incorporated into
the License and into these Guidelines.

Notices. All trademarks and service marks included in the Equilar Brand Features will be designated with
"SM", "TM" or "®", in the manner directed by Equilar.

Restrictions upon Use. The Equilar Brand Features will not be presented or used: a) in a manner that
suggests that editorial content has been authored by, or represents the views or opinions of, Equilar or any Equilar
personnel or affiliate; b) in a manner that is misleading, defamatory, libelous, obscene, infringing or otherwise
objectionable; c) in connection with any material that infringes the trademark, copyright or any other rights of any
third party; d) as part of a name of a product or service of a company other than Equilar; or e) in a manner that
infringes, derogates, dilutes, or impairs the rights of Equilar in the Brand Features. Equilar shall have complete
discretion to evaluate Licensee's use and to decide whether that use violates any of the foregoing restrictions.

Use for Equilar’s Benefit. Any use of the Equilar Brand Features shall inure to the benefit of Equilar
by using the Brand Features pursuant to Equilar’s approval, Licensee acknowledges Equilar’s ownership of all Brand
Features and warrants that it will not take any action which is inconsistent with Equilar’s ownership.

Nonexclusive Remedy. The Licensee will make any changes to its use of the Equilar Brand Features as
are requested by Equilar. This remedy is in addition to any other legal remedies to which Equilar may be entitled in
relation to Licensee's use of Equilar Brand Features.
