Emerson Electric Co. announced the transition of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David N. Farr to Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, effective February 5, 2021. Mr. Farr has been CEO of Emerson Electric Co. since October 11, 2000. From 2007 to 2020, Mr. Farr realized $262,769,992 in total compensation.

On February 5, 2021, Surendralal (Lal) L. Karsanbhai will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Karsanbhai currently serves as the Company's Executive President of Automation Solutions.
