Biography
Charles O. Holliday, Jr., 61, Chairman, since 1999, of DuPont. Mr. Holliday served as chief executive officer of the Company from 1999 through 2008. He formerly served as president, executive vice president, president and chairman-DuPont Asia Pacific and senior vice president. He is a director of Deere and Company and Chairman of Catalyst. Mr. Holliday formerly served as chairman of the Business Roundtable's Task Force for Environment, Technology and Economy, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, The Business Council, and the Society of Chemical Industry-American Section. He is Chairman of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness and is a founding member of the International Business Council. He also co-authored "Walking the Talk" which details the business case for sustainable development and corporate responsibility.
