Biography
Stephen A. Roell, age 59, Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Johnson Controls, Inc. Mr. Roell was elected President in 2009 and served as Vice Chairman from 2005 through 2007 and as Executive Vice President from 2004 to 2007. Previously, Mr. Roell served as Chief Financial Officer of Johnson Controls, Inc. from 1991 to 2005, as Senior Vice President from 1998 to 2004, and as Vice President from 1991 to 1998. Mr. Roell joined the company in 1982.
