Biography
John E. McGlade, age 55, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Director of the Company since 2007. Mr. McGlade joined Air Products in 1976. He was named Group Vice President, Chemicals Group in 2003, with global responsibility for the chemicals group, industrial gas and chemicals manufacturing, and Environment, Health, Safety and Quality. He was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Air Products in October 2006. He assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer on October 1, 2007 and Chairman in April 2008. Mr. McGlade serves on the board of directors of the American Chemistry Council. He also is a member of the Lehigh University Board of Trustees, the Rider-Pool Foundation, and the Society of Chemical Industry.
